22/8/02 Following Tuesday's sucessfull warm up gig at The Admiral Owen in Sandwich, I can now confirm that the (almost) original line up of the Groovey Band will appear as headliners at the Sandwich Festival "Rock on the Quay" event. 4.00pm- 8.00pm Sunday 25th August 2002.

line up:-

Vocals- Sean (Mc Buff) Sullivan

Backing vocals- Steve Allen, Becky Sandwell (sadly Lara cannot make it)

lead guitar- "funkychicken"John Matthews

rhytm guitar- Terry Myers, Martin Wyman

bass/vocals- Gordon May

drums- Brian Myers

support by:- Bagpuss, Bubblegum, TSB and Shake The Snake.

First band on at 4.00pm, Groovey Band on about 6.30-7.00pm!

21/5/02 Even HOTTER NEWS!! The Original Groovey Band line up are making plans to reform for a few gigs in the Sandwich area, playing the original set! More details to follow._Possible gig at Sandwich festival in August!

(I might even post some old pics of the old line up, when we all had more hair!)
